The 2 days Machu Picchu, we will tour the Mountains of the Sacred Valley , which it played a very important role in the Inca culture and history. The Valley has a more pleasant climate than Cusco . Itinerary 2 days Machu Picchu from Cusco across Sacred Valley
Day 1 Cusco – Manos de la comunidad – Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
We will pick you up from your Hotel at 7:00 am, to go to our first stop which is Manos de la Comunidad, located 30 minutes outside the city of Cusco, where we will visit different types of camelids such as llamas, alpacas , guanacos and vicuñas. In addition to the camelids, we can visit the artisanal store where you can find Andean products such as : baby alpaca sweaters, ponchos , blankets among others , also fine jewelry : 950 silver and 18kt gold …
We will continue our tour arriving at the famous Mirador de Taray, where we will have a panoramic view of the entire sacred valley of the Incas, we will visit the colorful Pisac market, where women from the highlands , come down to sell their textile products and vegetables, we will continue our tour visiting the famous archeological site of Pisac, located on Pisac Mountain in the Sacred Valley.
We will drive for 45 minutes, until we reach the town of Urubamba where we will have our buffet lunch. After regaining our energy, we will continue our journey until we reach the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will visit its famous archaeological sites. We will visit the incredible Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Moon and the Temple of the 10 niches. Then we will board our train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes, arriving at approximately 08:40 pm where our guide is waiting to take us to our hotel.
Day 2 Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco
Our big day starts very early, we will wake up at 5:00 AM, to have our nutritious breakfast, after breakfast we will take the first bus that will take us to the lost citadel of the Incas Machu Picchu, to enter Machu Picchu you must present your entry ticket.
Get ready for one of the most wonderful moments, you will meet Machu Picchu, where the sun’s rays will clear the entire path for you to see Machu Picchu.
Our guide will give us a tour of 2 to 2:30 minutes, where we will visit the most important places in Machu Picchu. We will also be able to appreciate the Huayna Picchu Mountain (reservation required). Once the guided time is over, our guide will say goodbye to the group and you will be able to enjoy and visit Machu Picchu on your own, taking into account the departure time of our return train.
Then we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will take your train that will take you to Ollantaytambo where our private car will be waiting to board you and return to our Hotel in the city of Cusco.
