    Overview

This archeological center is one of the most important in the Urubamba River valley, after Ollantaytambo and Pisac. Its location and archeological remains are impressive, today they are little deteriorated due to their age. It was the favorite place of the Inca, Wiraqocha. From there it was where he conquered all the tribes of the sacred valley. This Inca town was connected with Qapaqñan to Machu Picchu Que Today, Huchuy Qosqo is a beautiful tourist circuit that through an original Inca trail connects the Inca towns located in the Sacred Valley and the Amazon jungle. When doing this excursion, we will be able to see the Sacred Valley of the Incas with excellent panoramic views of the Urubamba River Valley, then we will head to Ollantaytambo to board our train that will take us to Machupichu.

    An unforgettable experience

We were lucky enough to live this adventure in a small group: just the three of us together with Urpi, an extraordinary guide. His knowledge, charisma and the detailed way of explaining each story and data made the tour even more special.

A dream trip with a dream team

I had the most wonderful time in my visit to Cuzco and Machu Picchu with Andean Road. Jim who is a native from Cuzco truly loves and knows his city by heart, he was able to recommend the best places and activities on that dreamlike spot. The trip by train to Machu Picchu town and the Inca citadel was well organized, I didn’t have to worry about the tickets or logistics and just focused on making great memories for life .
