It was a military and ceremonial site and played an important role during the Inca Empire.
Our journey continues with a visit to Qenqo, an archaeological site known as the Temple of Pachamama, the Earth Goddess. Here, you will find fascinating rock formations and tunnels believed to have been used for ritual ceremonies. The site was a sacred space where the Incas worshipped Pachamama and held agricultural ceremonies.
