Day 1 Cusco – Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
The tour will begin very early in the morning. Around 4:30 am, our team will pick you up from your hotel and take you to our private bus. From there, we’ll head to the town of Ollantaytambo, where the train station is located. Once there, you’ll board the train for a 2-hour journey to Aguas Calientes, beginning your Machu Picchu Full Day Tour by Train through breathtaking Andean landscapes.
Once we arrive in Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting to accompany us to the bus station. After a brief walk, we’ll board the bus and travel for approximately 30 minutes to reach the “Machu Picchu Sanctuary,” also known as “The Lost Citadel of the Incas.” As we ascend, we’ll begin to enjoy the breathtaking scenery that surrounds the area.
Once inside the archaeological site, we will present our tickets and begin our journey through this ancient wonder. Shortly after, our guide will start the tour, providing valuable insights into the history and cultural significance of each structure. As we walk through the citadel, we will explore the site’s most iconic attractions, such as the Guardian’s House, the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Temple of the Condor, and many others that reflect the brilliance of Inca engineering.
