Sacred Valley of the Incas Itinerary – VIP
Day 1 Cusco – Chinchero - Maras - Moray Salineras - Ollantaytambo - Pisac
The VIP Sacred Valley tour starts between 6:40 am and 7 am. Our first destination will be the town of Chincheros, a very traditional and typical place where you will find Inca wall constructions and a colonial church that holds abundant history. In addition, you will have the opportunity to visit the Textile Interpretation Center, a place full of colorful crafts and fabrics.
Continuing our tour, we will head to Moray, also known as the Inca Agricultural Laboratory. These famous for their circular terraces were used for agricultural experimentation, since each of them has a different microclimate. After visiting, we will descend towards Maras and the salt mines, where local families have been extracting salt naturally since the time of the Incas.
At the end of the tour, we will continue our journey to the town of Urubamba, where we have our buffet lunch with exquisite local and Cusco cuisine. After lunch, we will board the transport to head towards Ollantaytambo, a military fortress that protected this area of the valley from possible invasions.
On the way back and as the last point to visit we have the archaeological center of Pisac, which is built on top of a strategically located mountain, which allows for a panoramic view of the entire valley.
Upon returning to the town of Pisac, you will have the opportunity to visit its picturesque craft market, where you can photograph and purchase handicrafts produced by local families. At the end of the tour, we will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 7:30 p.m., dropping you off at your hotel.

Solo
I loved the excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It was an amazing and unique experience. Our guide, he was outstanding. He was always attentive to every detail, passionately explaining the history and culture of the place...

Solo
We were lucky enough to live this adventure in a small group: just the three of us together with Urpi, an extraordinary guide. His knowledge, charisma and the detailed way of explaining each story and data made the tour even more special.

Solo
I had the most wonderful time in my visit to Cuzco and Machu Picchu with Andean Road. Jim who is a native from Cuzco truly loves and knows his city by heart, he was able to recommend the best places and activities on that dreamlike spot. The trip by train to Machu Picchu town and the Inca citadel was well organized, I didn’t have to worry about the tickets or logistics and just focused on making great memories for life .

Family
It is a very serious and responsible agency fulfilled everything offered all very cordial one feels comfortable when they treat it as family, no doubt when I return to them.
